Sarah Jane, Charlie Brown was almost bald for fifty years and no-one complained! (Well, they might have, but there were no Internet fora, so who would have known if they did?)
Thatās so true, ewennick, Charlie Brown was near-bald but there was no Internet forums for commentary on it. Iāve always just taken it as āthis is the way it is with Charlie Brown, just like his zig-zag shirts and crazy dog!ā :)
Being a devoted āPeanutsā fan, I often wonder how Schulz would have reacted to the āComics on the Internetā phenomenon? I know he got a lot of get-well wishes from his own Website, and I think he was amazed at how popular heād become. However, Iām sure he didnāt know how far comics on the āNet would grow, in terms of new comics and the ability to comment!
All I know is that Schulz started my lifelong love of comics, so I follow āmyā chosen comics on the Internet daily. Iām still amazed at how comics have grown, both syndicated and not (yet!).
Oh, and Dill is just the best, even if Iām also so fond of Aliceās character too. They make a great pair! :)
