Andy said it would be the barkeep buying a round for the house.

I guess that Andy didn’t participate in the quiz if all the answers were the same.

Thanks !  It turned up alright….. after I bought the new one. It rained on and off here today. I will be going to the VA Friday morning for my annual check up. I have elected to participate in their “Million Veteran Program”. I sent the survey questionnaire off today. I will get a notice back for when to go in and give the blood sample and whatever else is involved. I will be scrutinising that needle carefully. .Thanks, John. You really know how to make this mutant feel wanted. .@mythreesonsHaven’t thought of sharuniboy for some time, but now that you mention it… didn’t know how old he is and we haven’t met. I hope to meet my ghost poster on my next trip east though.

I got myself another name I can use but it also requires deleting all the Goat cookies and changing the IP address, on a modem I don’t have control of. I am piggybacking a connection, that I am authorized to. I set up the password to make sure that his signal isn’t for just anybody. I think I am a little lazy about doing the runaround and besides, I’ve had this handle for close to 30 years; it’s who I am. I will have to meet the company eventually. Maybe on a trip to Fla. to see family, hopefully later in the year, but not too late. My Aunt Linda has been predicted about six more months…. bad health. K.C. (MO.) would be on my way.

Obviously, Andy wants to be seen as a Hail Fellow Well Met—not as a Scrounge…

I think the reason that the Pub Quiz Night strips never work is because it’s so out of character (or what USED to be the character……) for the denizens of the pub, and even for Jackie. Andy (and his friends and/or piggy banks and purses) isn’t at the pub for intellectual stimulation. Drink, darts, billiards, fights, that’s the ticket!

Cow and Boy, Dilbert, FoxTrot, Meg [?], Motley, The Norm, and Shirley and Son[the ‘Gretsch’ Auto-Guy; great stuff], all have Classics on Goatcomics. Classics Classics Classics Classics Classics Classics Classics, and none AC, bigger than those combined.. . .so of the two options; get the Gumby Theatre Spectacle to quit or retire; three options; or die, FOUR; or get goatcomics to run Smythe instead of anything else, which is the lest-difficult?!?The one with the likeliest outcome [aside from status quo] ?!?!?!?!?.Not exactly a rational Lot [goatmere] to compromise with; so is an irrational

I can’t remember for sure, but I think the syndicate wasn’t with him on new material and he now does it offsite, as you prob’ly know. Go to the right on the comments page and open the link. It should show his new stuff starting about January. I sent the twelve dollars (basic) to help finance the machine. The fee for Cat Copter was a bit steep for me. This for those who like the strip and were wondering about it. I also miss Yenny !

Thanks. I had a sample taken once before… I walked out under my own power. It’s a routine “look under the hood”. As I have no outstanding difficulties… save one, my status here…. I should just breeze on thru. My brother Ron called me back last night to tell me that he has a possibility of purchasing a friend’s trailer and even considers that he may try to stay in the house where he is now, if his lady friend would be willing to move in and share some expense. She is a widow with a grown daughter. They have been running together since last year. He wants to get past all the uncertainty of his ultimate residence. .That Bluebonnets looks like fun.
