I like this Petey kid - he’s reading Little Nemo.

I have to wonder if Petey has also done a diorama of the day the Busy Signal was invented.

And we all thought Petey was gonna lose it when his sister invited her friends.

You’re right, Terry. ~Maybe Petey will make another box to capture this memorable moment in history.

I hope he’s reading the Windsor Newton Little Nemo! That is such a cool book!

this eerily reminds me of my childhood - not really the shoebox dioramas- but of the countless times my sister came in to bug me and i’d just keep on reading - ignoring as much as possible

i think sylvester graham might be my new hero!!

Well would you look at that, who would have thought…Petey really DOES love it when people go up to his room and mess with his stuff.

I think it has been estableshed that Petey’s comic is called “Little Neuro”, not “Little Nemo”. Same basic premise, but more neurotic.

Sylvester Graham was one of the first nutritionists. I still love his cracker.

As a lover of graham crackers I feel that Petey is correct in paying him the proper respect for this wonderful invention!

pibfan, Far be it for me to correct another fan of Cul de Sac - but the artist of Nemo fame was Windsor McKay. However, I do think your choice of Windsor Netwon (the ink and watercolor company) is indeed clever! (intentional or not)

Little Nemo is still one of the most magnificent strips yet.

Jestfryl, Likewise, far be it for me to correct other Cul De Sac fans as well - but WINSOR McKay was the creator of Little Nemo (also Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend and many others). It a common error.
