Brando deWilde was an acting Prodigy and it’s said He sang Harmony with Country Rock legend Gram Parsons better than anyone save Emmylou Harris.Those two wrote a song about His tragic death at age 30; It’s on Their LP Grievous Angel. In My Hour of Darkness . . .any remember the Northern Exposure episode with “Shoen”?!?

Chalkie, no. But Northern Exposure was one of the best shows ever, by far….Thanks for reminding me about it….Good times…

I do this too often when travelling.

Actually, yeah, I joke about it…but the height thing has always seemed funny to me…

Hollywood teaches us that heroes are tall and handsome…or at least rugged looking.

Real-life heroes come in all sizes and shapes.

Audie Murphy could play a gunslinger but sometimes not a top-billed hero because he didn’t look like one in the movies.

Not a bad rendition.

Now I get the half a dog…

Ten.Joel needed a minyan….ten (preferably Jewish) men (including himself) to sit shiva, or mourn, and recite the kaddish (prayer) when his uncle (?) died.

Hilarity ensued.

But yeah…. Northern Exposure was one of my all time favorites.

A cell phone is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A cell phone is as good or as bad as the man using it.Well, that and how many bars you have.
