Grandma, would you buy us these shoes? Absolutely not! We can't afford them! I can't believe people will pay that much for something kids will grow out of in a few months! I'm telling you, this overindulgence of demanding kids has gotten out of control! When I was little, kids would have never dreamed of asking for shoes that cost more than a house. When she was little, kids just tied mastodon for to their feet. That they were hard to clean when she stepped in triceratops droppings.

Why do kids think their parents lived in the stone age? Especially, now that we are in the 21st century.

I live in the house my parents bought in 1958 a few months before I was born. My last car cost more than they paid for the house.
