why do birds suddenly appear? is it because, you learn the truth at 17, that love is meant for beauty queens.

The song was written by Willis Alan Ramsey and first recorded by him as “Muskrat Candlelight” in 1972. America covered it, retitling it “Muskrat Love” in 1973. The Captain and Tennille cover was released in 1976.

Now ailurophile,There was some great music if you did not like that genre.Steppenwolf, Cream, Iron Butterfly, the WHO, the Doors, and the ROLLING STONES, Animals, WAR, Eric Burden, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Jethro Tull, Rush, PINK FLOYD (who can remember UmaGuma, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun), Yes, Ten Years After, Hendrix, Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen (Son you’re gonna drive me to drinking if you don’t stop driving that Hot Rod Lincoln. I know it was a redo but it was still great. I think about that song everytime I had my Sergeant with me on a high speed chase out in West Texas. OH slow down I see spots the lines on the road look like DOTS. Classic, man),ALICE COOPER, OZZY OSBORNE (he is still creepy) Elton John (opps again Sorry SIR Elton John). They just did not have TV variety shows for Mom and Dad every Friday night at 7.Of course it was better than Lawrence Welk, Sing Along with Mitch Miller. The 70’s was the generation. First with the pill and the rampant sexual revolution. I never got it but I heard others??Just having fun reminiscing.
