    I feel safer in public places if little girls are emulating the new Merida, who isn’t armed with a bow and arrows, than the original (from the movie “Brave”), who is.

    or, all the comic book fans who get upset over any change to their beloved characters. ie wonder woman, spiderman, any x-men, superman, etc…

    Have you seen this makeover? It’s far from a simple resketching of the character. It’s a different character, as I think you’d agree if you saw it, and cared at all for Pixar’s original Merida. Obviates any statement about the difficulty of converting from cell-shading to CGI, too.
