Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Cooncat, I used to think Schulz made up queen snakes, but it turns out theyâre real. Itâs a harmless water snakes found in the eastern US and southeast Canada.
Assuming a Minnesota locale for Peanuts, Linus must be being sent a good distance if heâs going to be around queen snakes.
Occasionally, parents will send their kids to camp for "enrichment,â social skills, independence, and to build respect for and a relationship with nature. I made some great friends at camp, a few of whom I have managed to keep in contact with. I also developed my self-confidence through my experiences at camp. Linus, you will have loads of fun, and the new friends you make will help you forget about the queen snakes.
I hated Camp Sylvan for the first 5 days. Then I didnât want to go home on day 14. Some of us kids would âtieâ ourselves to the posts with our shoe laces. LOL
Queen Snakes are common in North America, but are also nonvenomous. And Linusâ phobia about them is on their Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_snake
Iâm pretty sure our parents sent us to camp so they could have a break for a couple of weeks, LOL (there were 4 of us kids) -since there was swimming, horses, and campfires every day, we didnât really mind.
The only summer camp Iâve been to was one in primary school, plus a winter camp in Boys Scouts. Iâve never been to a summer camp in the woods, though. But I assume itâs a fun experience.

I have been reading âqueen snakesâ as âgreen snakesâ. Had to go back and look. Funny how your brain plays tricks on what you read.

Youâll be FINE!
After all, Charlie Brown survived it. You might meet a âlonesomeâ friend too like I said the other day.
I hope your blanket attacks Lucy again⊠It will serve her right!
