    How come Toto didn’t get anything? He’s the one that uncovered the whole scheme….Am I the first one that ever noticed that? ..Probably not….

    in Oz books all the animals could talk … even the ones that came from the real world… all of them except Toto. maybe he didn’t have anything to say?

    Varnes…. maybe Toto figured he didn’t need anything…he already had a heart, brains and a lot of courage….

    And with his keen canine sense of smell, he could sniff out a phony wizard every time.(Just ask Dogsniff.)

    You forgot theft by taking from the first deceased, failure to yield in a public thoroughfare, jaywalking down the said thoroughfare and cruelty to animals (flying monkeys).

    Not her fault. She was a pawn of the two surviving adults that she made the mistake to trust! Her house fell on the first witch, not her fault. Then the “good” witch prompts her to take the ruby slippers, deprives her of the knowledge that she has the capability to return home and sends her off alone on a mission to a far city. The wizard then refuses to help her or her companions until they kill his rival. Some kids’ story!
