Kevin, the zombie?

Yup, Monty strikes out again. Just don’t sit on your “shovel”.

Metal detectorists are the bane of archaeologists. It’s a good thing Monty didn’t dig further….

Reminds me of the Stephen King novel where someone trips over something very similar in his backyard, and when he digs to see it, it turns out to be the tip of a spaceship.

Another loss to greatness, {and so it shall always be}

You’re just going to walk away after you’ve left a pointy thing exposed? Dig it out to protect someone else walking along. And when you do, you will find that your shovel is actually a priceless treasure!

Depending on where Monty lives, that could be one spectacular find.

I remember when we did metal detectors (but not whether it was before or after pyramids, tarot cards, etc. I have done many curious things with my man over the years – even convinced me to study for and get a license to sell insurance (just not my thing- I don’t like selling anything). He may still have at least one old metal detector in his basement.

I tried to get him to let me help clean up the basement last time I was there. (It’s worse than my garage- at least I have room to park).

I remember seeing some stuff where people tried to ID items blindfolded and touching only one end . . .
