I am calling it right now—-Milford will lose the game and no chance at the play downs. The manner of how they lose is questionable, but don’t be surprised if the vaunted double play duo commit an error that leads to the winning run.
Prediction for tomorrow – the world famous almost record-setting double play combination blows a game ending DP and it costs them the game and the title.
Seems like all the characters are making cameos before the “June Swoon.” I’m going out on a limb and predicting that The ’Larks will win this one with a fantastic finish. Moonpie sure looks happy with those Pete Townsend “Chinese Eyes.”
I love the thumbs up sign the catcher appears to be giving the pitcher. Kind of his way of saying, “Way to go, man. Looks like you’re the coaches new shower toy after that little slap on the rump.”
P3 – Since this is such a big game, it appears that Moon is doing television (considering his pose) and is being simulcast on WDIG . . . he’s hit the big tme folks!
But alas, Moon will get the director fired for having his flask in full camera shot. Marty on the other hand, will be disciplined (suspended) and sent to rehab for the ump-teenth time.
The Mudlarks will move on to a state title, and Moonpie will be stuck listening to another “fill-in” PBP announce call it for MILFord while in the Betty Ford clinic.
Once he checks out of rehab, Marty will go on a killing spree during the MILFord state title parade only to be subduded by Gil and Coach Kaz . . . teaching everybody here a valuable lesson, and that is . . . don’t be like Marty Moon and hit the big time!

P3 last appearance April 4th for those repeat hunters. Moon’s got his sippy cup filled with Chaldean wine, he’s sloshed!

Does Hamani Gaines play for Milford’s American Legion team in the summer months?

I think the problem is that the player in the background of P2 is using an oven mitt instead of a glove.

I will go against the grain and say Milford wins!
