My dog does something similar. She is telling me to put the book down and go to sleep, I’m reading way past bedtime. If I sleep in too late her morning walk is too short.
Priceless. My dog and cat compete for this very position. Attention, please! Of course they get it. Books can wait, love of companions takes precedence.
