Thanks for the Laugh AND the Memories Dan! I mowed yards for 3 Weeks as a Kid Just to buy A Colecovision and play PONG on TV….Thus began my Decades long love affair with Gaming.

Thought sure the crystal ball would show Rip and Cobra married, living in DePere Wisconsin, with six kids. Figured that would scare the snot out of Rip, and make him ditch Cobra.

That’s not the future – didn’t that happen just last week? :-)

come on now Rip you don’t need a crystal ball to see what’s in store for you and CC, but on the other hand sweet little ole Breezy would be a fine find to take home to your dysfunctional family. I love the distressed look on Rip’s face in panel 4 !

I had a Coleco-Vision. The one game I had for the system was awesome.

Rip needs danger. He would never be happy with sweet little Breezy.

I think Rip’s real problem with the crystal ball is that it took away the suspense. He KNOWS Cobra will continue to put him in danger for money, but the crystal ball removed the drama of not knowing HOW.

Where’s the colour filter for the screen?

Not knocking DePere, or Wisconsin. Northeastern Wisconsin – my home – is a generally peaceful and pleasant area . . . . except when the Packers lose to the Bears, of course.-Just picture Rip and Cobra living there though, with the big adventure of the week being at trip with the kids to Chili John’s.
