Quick thinking, Gramps!

It is. And Stanley Park is a breath of fresh air.

Who cares? It’s Mike and his Grandpa doing something together. Most parents today won’t spend time with their children. Mike is very lucky to have a ‘Grandpa’ with whom to spend time. I envy him ! !

Word travels fast in the fishing community

I remember fishing with my Grandpa over 50 years ago.

My grandparents had 4 boys. I was the first grandchild, and a girl. My grandfather bought me a bait-casting rod and reel the day I was born. I remember him teaching me to cast on the street in front of their house when I was five.

I remember fishing with my Grandfather in Oregon, too. We only did it once because I wouldn’t touch the bait. “It’s too icky, Grandpa!” But we did have a good time!

I also go fishing with my grandpa. Fun times.

@sbwertz Hopefully you’ll teach your children and grandchildren what you learned (if you haven’t already).

I hate fishing

You were “followed” and they got there ahead of you. How dumb do you think your grandson is?

Granpa’s lucky. Most of my time spent out with the grandkids was in the local jail visitor’s windows.

His grandpa looks so young. I never knew my biological grandfathers, only my uncle’s father and grandfather. (I was raised by my father’s sister and her husband).

Secrets aren’t really secret anymore, no matter if its a fishing spot or something somebody tells you in private

It is, and Lynn hasn’t even included our mountains in the background!
