Some people burn too easily. Anyone else watch Naked & Afraid last night?

The world’s a cruel, cruel place, eh Petey?

Petey’s mom has that “SERENITY NOW” look…

He still appears to be barefoot though. That is surprising.

No danger of a vitamin D overdose.

Fifty years from now Petey will be the one who DOESN’T have to go to the dermatologist every 6 months and have stuff burned or cut off. Or sit under the blue light special on aisle 5.

No bubble wrap?

Last week there was another ex-military guy that got all whiny.

I used to cover up in the sun at the Florida beach – hats, towels, long-sleeved shirts, umbrella, sunscreen. No tablecloths, though. I had very pale, thin skin. Sunburned as red as a cooked lobster. I hear that redheads are very susceptible to sun, too.

I knew a girl like that.Spent a fair amount of time outdoors, but never had a tan line.

This looks like my hubby, but not becasue he burns easy, more becuase he hates outdoors and swimming.

I was like Petey once, afraid of getting sunburnt, but absolutely refusing to put on sunscreen (don’t like the stuff to this day, despite knowing it’s protective abilities). Eventually grew out of it, though. I think it was the heat melting me under all of those protective layers that did it.
