It’s a good thing that no corporations are collecting data on Americans.-Of course, that would not be any threat to freedom because, you know, corporations are people and have all the rights of any citizen and have only our best interest at heart.-Especially the multinationals.
I’ve worked with government, and private contractors. My brother did nothing but “defense” projects for “Private contractors” his entire career. He constantly condemned all the government folks that gave him his bonuses, and listening to him describe those companies activities for over 30years, I’ll take “government employees” any time. (Those that aren’t in the revolving door with “industry” that is!! and there aren’t many of those left thanks to post-Reagan destruction of all agencies.
this has gone on since pre-historical times. The most recent bump up was “the patriot act”. this was the 1st big failing of of the Obama administration; renewing the patriot act. BIG mistake. Still he was the only pick that was reasonable. Mc Cain, and the possibility of Palin, then Romney, who flipped and flopped all over the place. he was the ultimate “yes man” to the tea party and the very wealthiest few.
