Here you go Coffee-Turtle:
Homemade Paper Jam recipe
ingredients
6 lb. paper, shredded (about 600 sheets)
1/4 pint water
Rind and juice of 2 lemons
6 lb. sugar
Method
Put the shredded paper, the water and lemon rind and juice in the pan.
Simmer until the paper pulp is soft.
Stir in the sugar and boil rapidly until setting point is reached. If the jam doesn’t reach the setting point after 20 min or so and the paper being used is low in pectin, you may need to add more lemon juice.
Remove from the heat, skim, pot, cover, and label.
Alternative: This recipe tastes much better if you substitute blackberries for the paper…

if that’s the copier at the Whitehouse/Congress, all it would take is a few copies of Obama’s “new” health care reform plan to empty it out…

I’ll have to try that at our lab. We’re always running out of paper printing our results.

@Coffee-Turtle My thoughts exactly
@DigitalFrog that sounds really good(with the blackberries, not the paper)
now you don’t just have to worry about papercuts, but slivers too.

LOL! We are all too familiar with the office copier/printer!

Digital-frog, very interesting; that would actually work. You have the right chemistry in there for converting the paper back to pulp.
blaze dancer, problem with the blackberries is that you always have to worry about plastic pieces and the tiny silicon chips.

where i used to work we had to hunt down our computer tech to have paper for our printer

Strange - I didn’t see a thing about Obama in the cartoon. I must have missed something.

My saying at the office was: “Get rid of this old piece of @!% and bring me a new piece of @!%.”
