I like Jim’s mix of deep sf influences and pop culture ridiculousness ;)Actually, when I first started reading Monty – starting with around Feb. 2023 – I thought it was really lame, but funny partly because it was so lame and corny. But then I began to think it was actually funny sometimes. Get the difference? It’s kind of like.. um.. what was it.. maybe Pearls Before Swine. And in case you didn’t get it, it’s not that I think the styles are unintentional…
