And what a refreshing strip! How good to see some of the neighborhood, and how completely expertly Giacomo and the cat are drawn. GS has always been at its best when it is about the neighborhood—and then the people in the neighborhood (critters too). Love those lines on Giacomo.
Our ‘’barn cat’ back in the ’40’s would take no prisoners when it came to wandering dawgs foolish enough to chase him. When the dawg left the property, he was minus a tank of blood and several parts that were vital to the passing of his genes. Couldn’t pet that cat with a fish in hand..
