    It’s unlikely that fishbowl style fish could survive in dog saliva… although I’m wondering if anyone’s done an experiment…

    Sorry fish. My daughter had a goldfish live for years. And if you consider the lifespan of a cartoon pet, such as Snoopy who has lived well beyond the years of any flesh and bone counterpart, you are looking at an eternity in the purgatory that is your life.

    When I was a kid one night there was a huge explosion (a dynamite factory had blown up). I had a gold fish in a bowl on my dresser and the blast had knocked him out of the bowl. The next morning my mom found him and put him in the bowl and he survived for a long time.

    This year Fish’s outing into the outside world is a short one. Usually Poncho forgets about him while Fish is struggling for water.

    How come nobody questioned the fact that if the tank is leaking, all that dog drool will run out soon and fish will be in the same situation all over again?
