Frog Applause is one of my favorite strips and I’m a loyal fan, but lately the writing has been “too ordinary” for me. Too tame and lame for my taste.
I really miss the erotically weird, melting-clock surreal humor in the older strips.
No more applesauce! No more applesauce!
What do other Frog Applause fans think?
I agree with itisme. FA is as it is. Mostly, I dig the daily surprise of finding out what’s new and weird on the FA menu. Today was obviously applesauce!
I wish I lived in Teresa Dowlatshahi’s world.
I gotta go with itisme here, just because the ocean of weirdness gets shallower in places doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with the water!
That’s the perfect way to sum it up, ejcapulet. I’d go for a drink from the FA ocean any day.
Unfortunately, I don’t think all the skinned knees are from praying.
