BRIGHT EYES COFFEE JOINT
Girl: I have to believe Mrs. Olsen's complicated problem can be solved with one simple idea. I think I just had it. Frazz: And I just love it.
Watt the heck????First of all, I don’t know why the lightbulb changed the coffee logo in the background. Is that supposed to be a metaphor for something?Secondly, the two of them are sharing a speech bubble in the last panel! Are they both saying the same thing at the same time?
In unrelated news, Stephen Pastis is having some fun thanks to “Jef the bicylist” today. Will Jef return the favor? Time will tell if this is a package deal.
The balloons in panel 4 should be separated; they tend to read as one.
Mr. Mallett does this a lot, and it is always confusing. It’s fine to shake up the constraints of comic strips (or anything else), but you must remember that some of those constraints make good sense. And separating balloons from different characters so they don’t read together is one of them.

I like how the bulb became part of the logo in the background.

As I have said before, you seem to have an irresistable drive to snark even if you have to make something up.
