So….no one else there was concerned by Roger’s raincoat OR the Sign…kinda seems like obvious Red flags to me…. My, but there are lots of trusting souls on Ballard St.
Thanks for the update on Shika, bev I was in bed when I should be last night, which is fairly early by your standards. At any rate I think I fast asleep by the time you posted that update.
I’m not complaining, that will have to wait till winter.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>In my little patch of paradise it is winter! At this moment ( 9 am ) it’s slightly overcast and 72 degrees with 84% humidity. A typical winter day, and no, I definitely am not complaining.
I don’t know those fish and I remember the Brevity that Susan posted yesterday.THIS is for Ling, because he reminded me of the song (and this one from Central Park is good). If I’m going to listen to something that I can’t get a good cardio dance out of, I prefer romance (I love when he plays his piano and sings TEXT to me) ;-D
I think Ballard St. has really gone off the deep end! I kept scrolling and scrolling….all the comments are appearing FOUR times…it’s like being in the Twilight Zone! or on a never-ending loop!++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
@Sherif (No Spitting) MunkyBluz
I guess I’ll go with your theory that my fish just likes to eat dirt (it figures that I would get a dirt-eating one!). I was going to ask Chet, but I don’t have a whole lot of cash on me, and I think that I’d rather save it for the fabulous Fish & Chips deal down at the Tiki.
I love it when you run that BOGO deal…it saves a LOT of money!!
You two had me in stitches with all your good knight joking around! And, thanks, Susan…I got the tomatoes you left for me. I’m going to cut some up and have them on the side with the Fish and Chips. What a deal!!!
I did not GET the significance of the raincoat and the fish until Stel’s last photo to Munky (I guess I can be pretty dense sometimes) ;-P@Brian, I saw that BBC video at your direction. What not to do in the Amazon river; Talk about cautionary tales – LOL!
Years ago I was visiting a zoo with some friends from college. As we were passing by the lion cages, a rather scrawny-looking male mated with a female. No warning at all; y’know, no Barry White, no candles, not even a hint of air freshener. This happened very quickly, and I heard at least one little kid ask a parent “what were they doing?”

Roger never carps, he just does things for the halibut.

After the spitting fish show, Roger is going to see Gallagher.

Roger keeps that yellow slicker in the glove compartment.
One day when he was about fourteen, his Dad had a talk with him.
He didn’t understand it all, but at least he always carries protection.

Bev! Are you still here?

My comment to you on yesterday’s strip has disappeared!
I posted 2 dog pictures…. one for Six and a favorite old Brevity….
and then, I posted condolences on your accidents, and some special boots and gloves for you…. That last post is gone!
Now I have to Google up that protective gear again…. cos you need it.
I can’t remember what else it said…. but oh well….
SusanSunshine Premium Member over 11 years ago
Bev… tsk tsk… you’re trying to make me say something else about protection….and I ain’t going there!

Ok, I think I found them again….
More stylish than that suit…. exceot for casual occasions when you think you might need the knee pads and such.
These will look prettier for dressy occasions.

G’knight Bev!
Glad you like them…..I can always glitter them if you decide you want me to.

I will most certainly take the heat over the cold. I love summer, but I think I’d love it even more in Arizona.

Not only is he wearing the wet weather gear he is smiling. From the looks of it I would say its a “grouper” of fish spitting.

At least the fish isn’t a candiru. I can’t explain here what the candiru does. You’ll have to look it up yourself.

Hope you’re feeling better tonight, Shika. But don’t get up on my account. Rest up. I’m headed to bed soon anyway.
