@rwjames. You are basically right, if a bit harsh. I’m hoping “the redemption of Quincy” will be a long-running story arc — not too long-running — that will redeem many of the other characters as well. Here’s hoping.
My actual wife actually died in real life. Which, as you can imagine, was pretty difficult. The January storyline was my way of working through that at the time, and was more about personal catharsis than anything else.
I may or may not revisit it, but obviously, it’s touchy. Best answer I can give you: What happened to January? Real life.
