Aha! So Mondo IS the type of kid to kick Jack. Wait. Where’s the kicking tee? Is that Jack’s ball? (Mondo’s ball is probably in another galaxy by now). What is Jack apprehensive about? So many questions. This is getting good. But I suspect a set-up! Jack is just baiting Mondo in preparation for a Lucy van Pelt manuever. Or not. Any hints?

Did anyone notice how I seamlessly slipped into my comment (above) the sports term “kicking tee”? Just one example of the useful terminology gleaned from Cleats comments. Words are power, people. Power!

Very observant. Tomorrow’s strip was supposed to run before today’s strip. Then it would make sense. Not a big deal though. Speaking of big deals, I have to deal with a hurricane, so I probably won’t respond to comments until Sunday. If I have electricity.

i love Cleats and Frog Applause and all the comments made. I love to learn sports terms. Meanwhile, batten down the hatches and ride out the storm and come back to us with more great Cleats and comments
