Transcript:
Man: Coach, I don't want to tell you how to do your job, but I've been to a couple of your practices, and I haven't seen one kid on his hands an knees barfin'. Deanna: That's really not one of our goals at practice. We focus on skills. Man: It just ain't football, is it? Deanna: Try to be strong.

Sports barfin’ is the American way - it prepares them for college binge drinkin’ and barfin’

The way they train for sports in America is stupid. If you lack endurance they think that until you throw-up you wont gain any more distance when you run. Ill admit that I was on the “chunky” side before i left but now after slow training with running and sword fighting for kendo ive lost weight, feel better and havent barfed once. Been doing it for 2 1/2 weeks and i can run 3 times farther!
Thats why kids hate running. Its because we only remember really having to push ourselves on the first try.
Slow and steady wins the race.

NipponKid-only if the race is to see who gets to the grave first. As a sprinter, if I believed your theory, I would never have won anything.

I’m too old to sprint these days. Maybe I can work up to that in my quest to become younger each year. So far I’ve only been able to achieve a childlike attitude.
Speaking of children, I just sent off a week of Cleats that features Svanhildur, and introduces her name. I’m hopeful Cleats will be picked up by an Icelandic newspaper.

I knew barfing would be a provocative subject.
By the way, I was asked if there had been any twins in Cleats. I don’t remember any, but there are two sets in my feature “Buzz Beamer.” Here’s a link to one of the sets, the Slugg brothers (voiced by my son) http://www.sikids.com/buzzbeamer/animated/derailed.html

Cute, that last little guy was clever. I take it that he’s been sno-boarding with the twins before.

The last little guy in that animation is Buzz Beamer. I do his voice. I alter my normal manly-man voice in Sound Studio. Yes, Buzz’s voice is done by a guy who is over 6’3” and 280 lbs. The girl’s voice is by my 15-year-old daughter.
