OK, I recognize Dark Phoenix, Silver Surfer, Elastic Girl, Invisible Girl (Sue Storm of FF fame), and I should know who the green dress in the bottom left is, but I can’t think of it right now. But is Ed dressed as “Rope Man”?
Afraid I don’t know any of those characters; I’s not be surprised to see some company on the left coast celebrating Comicon this way, though! When my kids were young, I painted a 360 cartoon mural in their room (did the characters as they lay down for naptime, so it was a break for all of us. My set of photos is missing the window wall but that was mostly Mother Goose/Grimms characters (I mixed story books with TV)
Yes, I have seen costumes in the office during Halloween. You really need a pretty geek filled office to do a superhero day. Plus this is just a cartoon. Still Highlander…
Scarlet Witch perhaps? I still love these kinda strips since it gives the artist an excuse for drawing the females in tight sexy costumes. (That’s why I do it!)
While I’m bragging on my murals (and I also made all mine and the kids’ costumes) here is the actual photo from which I cut current avatar, back in my LR in the 70s – wearing my cockatoo costume with my lover’s oldest daughter and her beau (now husband). That mural went thru various changes over the years (mainly from when my X broke a big hole in wall) bad temper, before I stopped letting him visit the kids at home.
Thanks, Night! Costumes are always fun, as are painting and lots of other arts and crafts.
I’m glad to have so many crafty friends in SCA (seems to be a good place for those who value hand made things to share). The young man who is the current King of Atenveldt gave me my lessons in shoemaking that I now share in classes (too few know the ins and outs of turned shoes).
Was at StarFest in Denver this April and the “Large Group” winner in the Costume contest was a family that came as Cyclops (Dad), Marvel Girl (mom in green dress from late sixties) Wolverine (boy in brown costume) and all 3 Phoenix phases (green, red and white, the 3 girls).

@Jonathan Mason. I have never worked at a company that had any sort of day like this.
But it’s fun to dream about who’d you’d dress up as if there were a day like this!

To my knowledge nobody really does this…. Scott should get extra kudos for the art since he choose ropeman and mighty mouse.
