I have a feeling all people who try to give up smoking go through this phase. It’s exceedingly hard to stop something you may have done for decades, especially something so addictive. Although I’ve never had this issue, I certainly feel for him and all those who try so hard to conquer this habit.
Anything that society frowns upon, the kids are determined to do. Movie actors and actressesall smoked When I was growing up; smoking was considered ‘sexy’ and ‘cool’. And yes, it is very addictive — I smoked for 60 years and tried many times to quit. It’s been 10 years since I finally succeeded. Now I have COPD. The kids who think it won’t happen to them are kidding themselves.
Sadly, I’ve been there, done that. I appreciate the awareness of how hard this addiction is to conquer. Nicotine is THE most addictive drug. More addictive than crystal meth. Cigarette companies should be prosecuted.
While everyone doe not die from cigarette related health problems, I believe that anyone who smokes(or uses any drug often) does some damage to their bodies, it definitely affects their lives negatively.
When I was growing up, everyone I knew that smoked (or drank) kept saying “Wish I could quit!”So, I figured the best thing to do was not start.(Learn from other’s mistakes – you can/’t possibly live long enough to make them all yourself!)
That poor addicted fool. He is experiencing withdrawl and I don’t think a walk in the cancer unit would help solve his problem. He is in one-trac-mind mode.
Don’t smoke, don’t drink, eat right, exercise—die healthy!Couple months ago, I appeared in excellent health, but a chance physical spotted a leaky heart valve!Recovering from heart surgery on July 19th.If one thinhg don’t get you, another will!
I’ve never smoked but I remember seeing a film showing a lung affected by nicotine and the same lung five years after quitting smoking. Also remember how hard it was to clean the master bedroom after my m-in-l moved out. Oy!
When I quit I was determined not to go out and buy anymore no matter what. I dumped the butts in the trash and took it out, got rid of my ashtrays. It was hard but, I made it.
I will give you 3 guesses and the first 2 to not count on who cleaned out his ash tray. That woman sticks her nose where is does not belong on a daily bases.
I’m all in favor of giving the customer what they want, but who decided that sattelite radio, GPS systems, “onStar”, internet connectivity and the like were essential standard equipment on your new car, and not options available at extra cost? Who decided that “compact. inexpensive” basic pickups like the old Ford Ranger, Mazda B series, and a host of others designed for utility no longer had a place in the market? No frills, toys, or gadgets; just an honest vehicle designed to do an honest day’s work.

What a terrible addiction to kick. Poor guy just needs to hole up somewhere with someone watching him so he can detox.

Some cars come with astray inserts. You use up one of your cup holders. My car didn’t come with the insert, but you could order it.
