In the Curse of Madam C Gary Larson couldn’t remember anything between ‘luke into my ayes’ and being chased by werewolves sometime later. But he sure had to draw a lot of cows after that.
You have to keep in mind that Llewellyn is a few hundred years old if not older still (I don’t think an exact age is ever given for him), and during that long life, he’s pretty much gone and done it all. I’m sure that after awhile, it all started to blur together.
