Did we miss something here? Last week he was planning to have Tarzan in his exhibit, and today he’s already here?

Hmm. Yes, some events have been glossed over, it seems. Now we’ll have to see how resourceful Tarzan can be in escaping captivity and dealing with a very wealthy lunatic on his own private island.

Someone asleep at the wheel? I think this ship just ran aground and skipped a week or two!

Yeah, this is really cheap – no backstory. Tarzan’s not the only one wondering what the hell happened.

Tarzan looks groggy, better dope him up again? And why set him up on display before he is even, er, mounted?

Their first mistake was to not put Tarzan in handcuffs. (If you disregard the mistake of even capturing him in the first place.) Still, considering how I B Pompous and Tarzan became friends even after old I B confessed he was going to kill him, I’m sure Tarzan and old Van Dorn will become BFF’s by the end of this storyline.

Is it just me or does van Dorn look like Charles Laughton?

Laughton was my first thought. From what I know of Gray Morrow from interviews I would venture a guess the resemblance is no mere coincidence.
