None of the kids are pulling the rope. They are just standing around letting her do the work.

some children need to be taught that school is valuable at home so when they are in school the teachers can teach and not babysit

Teachers don’t “turn out illiterates” — last time I checked, most kids are reading by the time they go to school now — if they have parents who bother to help them learn.
