Let me guess: You watched one of those alien movies?

This reminds me of the Calvin and Hobbes strip where the aliens stole all his knowledge.

Boy is Nate bored.

Nate is not stupid but he has an incredible imagination that obscures his intelligence.

Why would aliens scan for a brain (like Nate’s) that doesn’t work?

What, Nate? They didn’t scan (probe) the other end? Ooops, sorry. This is a kid’s comic.

Couldn’t have been a very LONG visit: unless they got to things like that “Thomas Jefferson, Founding Father” 500 word (exactly!!) essay sometime back!! His loss, uhhhhh THEIR loss, also!! Snickers! SNICKERS!! And Butterfingers!!

If they removed his brains altogether, he’d be dead’ cuz none of his internal organs would be functioning.

Teddy, its hard to remove what isn’t there. We know that Nate does not operate by his intellect. Instead he operates on his emotions and the illogic that supports his desires.

I’m of the impression that news media started saying that X-rays (say, of an athlete’s injury) were “negative” after Dizzy Dean got beaned by a throw during an All-Star Game and the next day a newspaper famously reported that X-rays of Dean’s head “showed nothing.”

No, they didn’t remove his brain, they removed his common sense (AKA… TEDDY AND FRANCIS WILL NEVER BELIEVE YOU!)

Actually, if the “aliens” removed Nate’s brain, Nate would die because if you had no brain, you wouldn’t be able to breathe.
