I can definitely see my youngest son in Michael, heās constantly annoying his sisters for no reason. Luckily I can send him to his father on weekends and for the entire summer.
Took the 13- and 7-year old girls to a Chinese buffet today. I told older not to bother her sister, so 13 said, āBother, bother, bother,ā and started poking her. 7 poked back, and it escalated. When we got to the booth, I said, stop tormenting each other, or Iāll make you sit catacornered from each other.
So 7 said, āBut we want to go, āBother, bother, bother!āā
No, I didnāt draw and quarter them. We need to pick our battles. They were fine after they got some food in them.
Seriously though, I wonder if Lynn enjoyed drawing the kids fighting or if she had actual serious issues with her kids. The roughhousing I did with my brother was nowhere near the level of violence Michael and Elizabeth have inflicted on each other.

This is why parents always do the Happy Snoopy Dance during the final days before school starts!

Also ā sad ācause makes me think of bored teens who beat up (and kill) other people, because they have nothing to do.
