Light as a feather, stiff as a diving board?

What a chicken outfit!

You can bet your nuggets that the locker room smells like wet feathers.

At least he didn’t draw water polio.

But if they’re pollos, shouldn’t the teams be something like Las Gallinitas y Los Castaños Indios?

That looks like a fowl from here.

The losers were madder than wet hens.

After a while they were all walking on egg shells.

It wasn’t until the game was nearly over that they figured out why the water temperature continued to rise alarmingly. (The carrots and onions thrown into the pool should have tipped them off.)

I don’t think they’d like getting wet. I know that Cuddles Cockatoo would scream with alarm as a single drop of rain hit her, and she’d beat me to the door. On the other hand, a childhood cat was SO fascinated by a tiny stream of water (if I’d turn the faucet just that much) in the kitchen sink, would stand looking into the faucet with stream running around her ears until the basin filled.
