I don’t ever remember being told to act my age. Maybe grow up, or stop being so immature, but no one ever told me to act my age. Telling an 8 year old to act his age is kinda silly and pointless.
Bratiness is bratiness. The kid may be acting his age, but he isn’t exercising age-appropriate self control. Anti-social behavior is not cute, and (since he stopped up a toilet and possibly broke furniture) it can be costly. I’ll bet if he had injured himself in all this bratiness, his parents would be threatening to sue the school.

OK, I was going to argue with that at first, but he’s right….Even though we’ve all been one, we really do forget a lot about what it’s like to be one…

The irony is that the kid is only able to talk to Frazz about his problem because Frazz does not act his age(30 something.).

maybe this is kids’ revenge to adults’ lies. because, adults lie to kids all the time.

I was once told “Act your age, not your shoe size.”
I’m 59, but I wear a size 9; guess which one is more fun.

Sometimes people tell me to act like a human being. I tell them to stop stereotyping human beings
