@David: What’s the catch? If “Baldo” follows the “stale but approved comic arch” then suddenly the girl at the auto shop will also start acting lovey dovey with him, and then he’ll face the dilemma of having to choose.

Further, after a long, drawn-out arch that seemingly gets nowhere, the lack of ability to choose will cause Baldo to lose both girls, but they’ll still be friends.

It’s fascinating that most of the people who think “the girl at the auto shop” is a better match for Baldo don’t even remember her name. It’s Beatriz. What is you like about her so much, if she’s such a cipher that you can’t remember her name and know nothing about her except that she likes cars?(And by the way, Baldo’s new girlfriend is named Estella, not Estrella.)

geez, this kid is slow. Baldo eres tonto!! Was happy for the character, but now, not so sure. The chica who works with him would be a better choice. This hija is too sharp for Baldito.
