I always walked to the store, in all kinds of weather. If it was too far, I took my bike.

I did this the other way around…got paid to “disappear” when my future brother-in-law would come over to visit my sister. Just give me enough money for a double-decker chocolate ice cream and a comic book, and I was gone in an instant!… ;)
