yep, some folks in Texas get a new car and turn on that signal and never ever turn it off, but to balance them out there are the ones that have NO IDEA what that little stick on the side of the steering wheel is for. My grandsons are learning to drive and the one thing I told them, if they don’t remember much else, is NEVER EVER pull out in front of a car that has a turn signal on, not until they actually slow and start to turn…….
That is why I always appreciate it when people polish their cars – you can see your car lights reflected in their paintwork (yes mine does beep loudly but I play my music LOUD!)
I once worked for a gal who only drove in the left lane because she had no peripheral on her left side so she figured it was safer that way. She didn’t have to worry about people passing her.
