    Oh, poor elephants if you ask me. The bigger they get, the shorter their reaches. Almost like T-rexes’ arms.

    What I can’t believe is that, instead of a simple portrait of Sherwood Anderson, they have to portray him seconds from death. How about an entry about the Kennedy assassination with an illustration of the back of the president’s head exploding?

    Sadly, and on a serious note, poachers know this too. Elephants across Africa and Asia are critically endangered and could be gone entirely from the wild within 30 years unless the tide is stemmed.

    There’s one part of an elephant that doesn’t keep growing: their teeth. Elephants that die of “old age” usually starve to death because their teeth wear out and they can’t eat anymore.
