Was Fritzi a fan of Allen Funt?

I don’t know—but I’ll bet Charlie Daniels is a fan of Fritzi, now that his name has been so….um, artfully placed.

From my favorite Charlie Daniels song (and one of my favorites of any genre), “Let it Roll”:.“Roll, roll, let it roll,let it flood down to your soul,let it talk, let it swing,play that music, let it ring.”

Them’s some strong flowers.

Fritzi’s hat is nice, but doesn’t seem to mesh with her general attire.

It’s technically Summer until 4:00 PM (when calendar fall begins during the fall equinox of equal day and night), as opposed to the “meteorological” fall, the turning of the leaves that most associate with the season) today, even in September … and also, some flowers do grow all year , though of course, some don’t… it’s just for the appreciation of humor…

Again, it’s just for the appreciation of humor… – And who says that today’s strip isn’t a “what happened over the summer” thing? strips aren’t always so linear… perhaps even “Mark Trail” may take a day off, just to enjoy the moments…

The inappropriately short short season lasts much longer in the South.

Reminded of the “Summer” event which took place in the spring for those who were there and in the fall for most of those who saw it – the Sydney Olympics.
