Considering the age of the Gangstas getaway car, they could have been stopping for gas at Star Gas ( founded in 1938 in London, Ontario, Canada ) also known as Red Star Gasoline.
They have them in New Jersey, too. On a trip, I had to stop, and you do have some stations here and there to watch out for- some attendants who try to be a little shady will try to scam you….
