My mother was 32 hours beat that.She never let me forget that fact and that I owed it to her that she worked so hard for me.I agree with bawanaAfter my hernia surgery….12 inches of scar right lower….the doc wanted to give me pain killers. I took the prescription but never filled it. Pain is fleeting. The mind can control pain.The Bene Geserit test in Dune is just that. Like she said the problem is controlling Crisis.But seriously get that shoulder reset it will help. A baseball under the arm pit works fine. Broken ribs heal. Just try not to cough or laugh hard. obviously, you haven’t been in pain long enough. There is nothing worse than chronic pain that never stops. You even get to thinking that death would be preferable. Even with all the misuse of pain killing medicine, it is a godsend. I just can not imagine having a limb removed on the battlefield. No wonder there was so much drug addiction after the “war of northern aggression”.
