Its already cold here, summer left in a hurry.

calling for snow in Denver today.

Current temp 59. Forecast high 90. Mostly sunny, 0% chance of rain. Actually it’s been an unusually cool summer here in the midland’s of South Carolina. Don’t think we broke 100 degrees even once, which is the first summer that has happened in the 12 years we’ve lived here. I’m ready for the cool though (doesn’t really get cold until after Christmas).

Here in Longmont it’s 40 and we have snow on our deck!

If only, Louie, if only! We’ll have a few more warm days, high about 81, and then, who knows, but in PA this won’t last much longer, :-(

Yeah, – it’s down to 80 degrees here in Sandy Eggo.

Currently 15 degrees and dropping. There are 82 days until Christmas.

ALLAN DON’T YOU DARE START WITH THAT YET! :-D* Tell me, when you aren’t taking classes, is your part time job setting up all the Christmas displays in the stores now? We haven’t even had Halloween yet!

And there are 158 days until St. Patrick’s Day, Allan. So what? Do you want me to do my annoying countdown daily?

For all you vets out there, 11/11/13 many many restaurants will have a free meal for the vets. Last year, while eating, a Boy Scout Troop came in with leader, marched around after showing colors, greeted all the vets…..quite touching.These brave men came in with walkers, canes, etc. Also, with vet picture ID you can get discounts at many places, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. etc.Lest we forget.

The pic of Louie in the last panel is awesome—legs up, self-made fountain, looking serene and happy. Love it.

The “Sandy Eggo” comments made me smile, too. Well done, folks.

ALLAN, you may not realize it, but I think we attend the same campus. Not saying where, but I am guessing. I prefer to wait for December to see decorations, but retail needs the money and the secular world has no idea what Christmas signifies. I love the Advent season best.
