I’m sorry but seriously get over yourself this is a community board. If the comment is not of an offensive nature and your not interested read past it. I like many of the links Alexikakos posts and hope they continue.
Excellent recipe, I’ve used one much like it for more than 40 years. I think mine came from my mother’s original Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, the red plaid binder that was really cloth-bound. Nowadays, chili powder and cheddar cheese being hard to find where I live, I’ve adapted it into an Indian recipe with tandoori spices and a smaller amount of whatever cheese comes to hand. To make it a bit healthier I use brown rice, with olive oil instead of butter. Seems to taste even better when baked for a few minutes in my old cast iron pot.
I’ll probably get jumped, too. I don’t post much on GoComics because people can be SO mean. However, as a “lurker” I prefer not to see the recipies and off-topic comments. It takes away from the fun of the strip. Plus, I have to preview everything to make certain it is OK for a child to read the comics. Isn’t it pathetic that adults ruin the comics for the kids?

Fall has fallen. When I lived in New England, I could count on the second round of hayfever about now.

Love the colors in today’s strip, hate fall, love summer.
Don’t read the comments if you don’t like them, folks! I for one enjoy the recipes!

I would be loving Fall right now, if we weren’t in Indian Summer.

Now that IS an easy recipe! Looks tasty too. I’ll leave the longer recipes to the experts. (I liked your recipe though ALEXI.

I love shuffling through leaves in autumn.
BTW, ever notice that there are one or two readers who never comment on the strip?
The Prof and her pupils never do. They make irrelevant comments about other people instead.
