Mr. Autumn turned over in bed, dreaming he was a new leaf …. – Before long, he dreamed his wife, Wendy Autumn, was head teller at a new branch … he also dreamed that she was still his girlfriend and was going to meet her to propose, and declare that he was falling for her, but upon her arrival, she blew right past him, as he wondered if it was because he started to become an "old leaf’ all of a sudden… or if it was all in vein and before you know it, he soon found he literally was falling in his dream…– And what do you know? He thought he woke up, but he must be still dreaming!…. Either that, or he’s gotta cut out eating those leafy vegetables so late….

His dreams were also colored with that walk in the park, the other day… – He wrote about it later, in the loose-leaf notebook that he keeps…

Whatever they were doing in that bed, he’s blushing.

Then he had a dream that he was piled up with a bunch of other guys, and a bunch of kids kept jumping into the,.

I miss the leafs changing in upstate N.Y. But not what comes after that.

Come spring and she’ll turn over a new leaf.

But now the days grow shortIm in the autumn of the yearrrr…..

It was a verrry good year….
