The titular character of “Zack Hill” was going to let that be his plan B for his science fair project a few weeks back; the teacher disallowed it after disallowing vinegar and baking soda.
My brother had his “lab” in the basement of our old victorian house, but most of the explosions took place in the back yard. Was almost made deaf by one of them but never blinded.
Never blinded, but I do love to listen to Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson on The Star Talker. It’s a pod cast I like to listen to every week. He discusses many different subjects including the cosmos. He is an astrophysicist for the Museum of Natural History. If anyone likes science with humor, Dr. Neil is your guy.
Not ‘blinded’ but thought this was a fascinating chemical reaction.I hope the link works, I’ve never tried to do one before, and not sure if I’m doing it right.Pharoah’s snake
No, actually never took a “science” class (chemistry or biology), just extra math courses because I struggled in those. And I took lots of art and language classes for fun.

I haven’t been near a science lab since high school. Never had any interest in it.
