I have to agree with both Irish and California Girl. It is only a cartoon, and the concept of raising money for a homeless shelter is excellent, but how many people (kids, particularly) read this and think that what shows up in print is at least grammatically correct – even if it’s not the truth? Some folks complain about foreigners, but most of them speak better English than Americans. (Yeesh. There she goes with another sermon. Sorry, folks.)

It’s a cartoon! Not grammar school. Give me a break. Grammar police need to find somewhere else to correct mistakes.
