Good morning, vagabonds. Yesterday was my roommate’s brother’s 20th birthday. I helped his mom make a birthday cake. It’s the very first time we used the oven in this stove.
I’m about 3/4 finished with my English history book. I’m in the middle of the 19th century with Prime Ministers Palmerston and Disraeli.
The temp today is supposed to go to 60. Almost tempting to wear shorts but I doubt it. Then cold next week. What a roller coaster. My wife isn’t looking forward to winter either.
Ga-day Mates..Ok, I’m no Australian..Should be a good day today, I’ll be taking my dear old Dad to the VA in White River, VT to see the Podiatrist to get his toe nails trimmed..So you all have fun..ttfn
good morning everyone! I found and saved this quote because it reminds me of a close friend who it closely describes: “The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don’t know anything about.” Dr. Wayne Dyer
I still like winter………this is our 7th winter up here in Montana. I guess I still like it is because I lived 62 years without a winter. SoCal went from hot, hot summer, to hot hot autumn, and then hot winter, and finally hot spring……..
Point to ponder, Teh…………I think we all do that from time to time……:((
Rita, to answer yesterday’s question, we will be sailing the Eastern Caribbean to St. Maartin, St. Thomas & Grand Turk. We are really looking forward to it. Best part is with the points we earned on our Princess credit card, the cruise is essentially free.
Supposed to get back up to the mid 70’s today. It has been really nice for the last few days. This is the best time of year in the Mojave desert, for sure!

Morning, Vagabonds. I hate winter. Give me good ol’ summer any ol’ time.
