The scariest thing I have ever seen on TV was “Gangland”. The scary part was that it wasn’t fiction.

Some TV Station ID’s, PSA’s and production company logos at the end of their programs gave me nightmares as a kid back in the 60’s.

The only one that gave me nightmares was The Exercist. Saw it on the big screen.

Jaws. I didn’t put a toe in the sea for years after that. I know it’s not supposed to be a horror movie but it worked better than any horror movie I saw.

Odd thing about “The Exorcist”. As I was waiting for the previous showing to be let out, there were distressed women being “tended to” in the lobby. The film was indeed very frightening to me. But then, just a few years ago, watching it on TV, it just seemed silly!

I grew up with the original Twilight Zone. Mom never quite realized how scary some of those episodes were.
