I now work in a state prison for male felons, and the pants are in fact pretty droopy b/c the side pull tabs at the waist are usually broken, and they no longer issue cloth belts.

Sorry, everybody – had to google 99% to understand this week’s strip. Had to google sagging pants, too, but I must admit I still don’t understand that one…

The real joke is that Jarvis is in the 99%. He is ordered around by a snotty rich kid and does not have the money his employers do. His life is only a pretense to being moneyed.

No toilet tissue, is the issue, why pants are low, it’s a drying process.

My guess is that dukedoug has the right take on this one. Looking like 99%ers, Jarvis and Sedgwick will probably be treated like 99%ers…. —Much to Sedgie’s consternation, of course.

Do you have a safety vest or some other type of reflective gear? Would hate to lose you!

Seeing Jarvis (with his gentlman’s sensibilities about neatness) required to wear stain clothes is really funny!

I just washed my 2 pairs of low-rise jeans this morning (similar colors for same load). I was wearing one yesterday while vacuuming and could not keep them up. I figure a wash may shrink them a little (one is the blue to wear with my cowboy outfit this weekend but that gold sequin belt is only decorative). I also ordered a strong belt from Zappos last night online. They do barely catch that hipbone).

I just can’t get enough of these two. They are great.
